Founder and President
Our goal is to build an orphanage in Africa, to provide a safe caring and loving environment for orphans, abandoned and less privileged kids between the ages of 0 and 10years old, a place they can call home. That will involve providing food, clothes, health care, education, scholarship and opportunities to travel abroad to continue their education after high school graduation.
One of the main axes of work for our foundation will be to build orphanages in different countries in Africa starting in Cameroon. We plan to provide help to orphans, abandoned kids and the less privilege. To be pragmatic, we will aim our actions on providing shelter, food, clothes, health care, education and scholarship. After the successful implementation of the project in Cameroon, we will expand to another African country. The designated country will be chosen base on the members preference. In the new location, we will try to replicate the models that have been successful in Cameroon.
Africa being part of the third world countries, there is poverty and a notorious shortage of social support for the least privilege. Therefore, to accomplish our goals, the foundation plan to collect and send from the US clothes, medical supplies, kids school supplied and toys. Moreover, during end of the year season, we will provide Christmas gifts and mean for the kids to celebrate conveniently.
The foundation will branch out to find partners which with their contribution will facilitate the materialization of our programs. We will remain open to constructive contributions for the benefit of our kids. We plan to raise fund through various means such as: a part of the revenue from the book “The art of storm” which will be dedicated for charity. The foundation will also raise money from fund raising events and grants.
It all faded away like smoke without source, life as I knew it will never be the same again. I and my
siblings were treated as outcasts, it was like as they say, “from many to nothing”. It was too sudden for
me, but reality hit me and my young family and the years ahead of us was a living hell. My name is Dr.
Vicky Marie Deuboue and this is my story and passion.
I was born into a middle earning family, my dad, Mr Albert Kemmo and my mother Nguefack Marie
Madeleine worked very hard to provide for me and my siblings. We lived a simple but satisfying and
comfortable life. We weren't rich or anything growing up, but we were happy, healthy, and wanted for
nothing. My mom died at age 38 and my dad 48, I was 9-year-old when this happened, I was
traumatized by these events and the way of their passing made things worse. My mom death was due
to the negligence and the tribalism culture of my country. My parent belonged to the “Bamileke” tribe,
one of the looked down upon tribes in my country. The moments leading to the untimely death of my
mom, my father had rushed her to the hospital, whiles she was fighting to stay alive but the doctors and
nurses on duty refused to attend to her because her tribe is not in the mainstream. Due to this
negligence my mom died shortly after delivering my little Sister. My parent was a great inspiration to
me, but like a reality check, it all ended too sudden. Life as I knew it will never be the same again, my
siblings and I became orphans. This had great psychological effect on me. As an orphan, I went through
countless hardship. I started Suffering from severe panic attack at age 9 from the day I saw my mother
in the mortuary lifeless, and the panic attack became worst after my dad also died.
I suffered from severe depression and anxiety after the loss of my parent. It was a feeling of
hopelessness, and helplessness as I was trapped in a country without good healthcare, clean water,
good education, and healthy food. The worse part was that my tribe was greatly discriminated against,
like a caste system, things became very hard for me. I had always wanted to become a medical Doctor,
but that was shortly lived, a new passion and focus for my life was birth out of my sorrows and pain. To
become a medical provider so I can make tremendous contributions to human lives especially to those
who are orphans and underprivileged. This was great because I did not want anyone to suffer what I
have suffered as a child. I was living in a nightmare, an unending horror movie until one day, luckily, I
was offered the opportunity to travel to the USA. This was a dream come through for me as I was finally
able to pursue my dream of becoming a medical practitioner. Here in the Unite State of America, I was
given the great opportunity to obtain my Doctorate degree affording me a great and inspiring life. I am
whom I am today because someone got to know my story and was willing to contribute not just my
education but general life.
Today in parts of Africa the suffering of children have so much increased, this is due to the Covid-19
pandemic, and wars. I feel a great calling to give back to children all over the world who are suffering
like I did. I want to create an environment, a great and resourceful foundation that will take care of the
needs of those underprivileged orphans and families across Africa. My foundation seeks to provide
different scholarship programs that will take care of their educational needs, provide shelter, food, clean
water, and healthcare. I humbly invite you to be part of this great course by contributing to the
foundation fund raising.
